AS Monaco are hoping to secure the services of Chelsea starlet Charly Musonda, who is also being tracked by Arsenal, according to reports from the Mirror.
Musonda is considered as one of the Blues’ brightest young talents at Stamford Bridge, but getting from the youth team to the starting eleven is a difficult task.
In order to get regular playing time, the 19-year-old is therefore considering several other options, and his availability has alerted the likes of the Gunners and Ligue-1 giants Monaco.
The French principality club were hoping to sign Musonda as part of the Radamel Falcao deal back in the summer, but the proposal was promptly rejected by the Blues.
If a permanent offer is turned down, Monaco could consider submitting a loan bid, with Chelsea likely to accept if he is guaranteed game time.
The Gunners also launched an £8million bid last summer, and could come in again with the Belgium U-21 star now pushing for a switch.
