Arsenal attacker Joel Campbell is believed to planning a club exit after he was left out of the squad to face Burnley as well as Anderlecht in the past week despite a great World Cup campaign with Costa Rica, Mirror reports.
His frustration is said to be caused by Arsene Wenger’s decision to name a Yaya Sanago, who only just returned from injury, on the bench with Campbell completely being overlooked.
The 22-year-old has once again been left angry over the very limited playing time with the Gunners as he has now started one Capital One Cup match and appearing two more times from the bench in the Premier League, featuring for only 37 minutes.
It is said that the Costa Rican star is open to both a permanent switch or even a loan move in order for him to be exposed to regular first team action as his plea for more chances is often being overlooked.
With news that Olivier Giroud is close to returning to action and the addition of Danny Welbeck during the summer, being third choice to the striking pair could cause him to force a move.
