Nurnberg have set in place a deal to sign Arsenal defender Martin Angha on a four-and-a-half year deal at the end of the season, reports ESPN.
The 19-year-old has only made a couple of outings for the Gunners since joining from Swiss side Zurich in 2010, his debut came in the Capital One Cup when his side won 6-1 against Coventry last September.
Angha is a versatile player who can fill any position across the back four and he has featured for Switzerland at a number of different youth levels.
He has struggled to compete for a regular spot with the north London club and now opted to try and ply his trade with the Bundesliga side who sit 10th in the division and safe from relegation.
Nurnberg sports director Martin Bader said: “Martin Angha has been brought to a top level of football at Arsenal over the last few years.
“He has shown his potential in London and will make the next steps in his development at FCN. We’re delighted to have signed such an interesting, young player.
“We’ve had our eye on him for a long time, he matches our idea of a player who could flourish.”
