Manager Arsene Wenger keen to bring him to North London with representatives from the Gunners in Spain on Thursday and Friday to meet the player and his agent.
The 22-year-old has emerged as a target as the Frenchman continues to try and strengthen his side in the wake of Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas leaving the club during the summer.
It’s thought a fee of £7 million would be enough to secure Parejo’s services with the 22-year-old keen on a return to England despite only joining the La Liga side in June.
A product of the Real Madrid academy he is no stranger to English football having spent half a season loan at QPR in 2008 before moving to Getafe a year later.
His form for the Azulones and Spain’s victorious under-21 European Championship team won him a move to Valencia.
It hasn’t all gone to plan though as he is yet to feature at the Mestalla and now wants a move to the Premier League to secure regular football and a place in the 2012 Olympics side.
