Iago Aspas has found his feet back in Spain after an unsuccessful stint in the Premier League with Liverpool and his Celtic Vigo side have enjoyed a run in the Europa League this season.

The 29-year-old spent two-years with Liverpool, the second of which he spent on-loan with Sevilla, and left Anfield with just 14 appearances under his belt. Back in La Liga though, he's netted an impressive 26 goals in 55 league matches.

Despite his impressive form, Celta Vigo were never expected to compete for honours in Europe and Aspas has risked the irk of Liverpool fans by tipping Manchester United as favourites for the tournament. Speaking to AS, he said:

"There are many (teams that can win the Europa League) but maybe Roma are one. Manchester United too because they are quite strong at Old Trafford. It will be tough for many teams but Roma and United are the main favourites."

Aspas' comments aren't too surprising given Manchester United's formidable form in recent months, with the Red Devils entering this weekend's EFL Cup final against Southampton on the back of a 4-0 aggregate victory over St Etienne in the Europa League Round of 32 and having enjoyed an excellent unbeaten run in the Premier League.
