Aston Villa defender Luke Young will miss the new two weeks with a hamstring injury.

Young, 31, sat out last weekend's goalless draw with Chelsea after picking up the injury during training.

He is now set to miss Saturday's trip to Sunderland, Wednesday's Carling Cup tie with Burnley and next weekend's visit of Birmingham City to Villa Park.

"The doctor has told me Luke will need at least another two weeks (to recover) because it is a minor tear," explained manager Gerard Houllier.

"It's a blow because it's worse than we initially thought."

Meanwhile, striker Emile Heskey, winger Marc Albrighton and defender Richard Dunne all look to set to return from knocks against Sunderland on Saturday.

"Richard has trained normally, Marc returned to training on Monday and Emile is much better and has trained normally," added Houllier.
