Barcelona ace Adama Traore has completed his medical ahead of a £12million move to Aston Villa, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
Villa have been monitoring Traore for some time, but were reluctant to meet the £12million asking price set by Barca.
And it was thought that the 19-year-old was set to sign for Stoke City after he was seen visiting their training grounds.
However, the Potters went to sign Inter Milan star Xherdan Shaqiri instead, which has allowed Villa boss Tim Sherwood to reopen talks for the young Spaniard.
It is believed that the Catalans are also open to sending Traore out on loan, but they are keener on receiving the £12million buy-out fee.
Villa got off to a good start in the Premier League this season, beating newly promoted Bournemouth 1-0 last Saturday.
