Manchester United could well have a job on their hands holding onto Daley Blind this summer, with The Sun suggesting that Barcelona have made a £14 million bid for the Netherlands international.
The former Ajax star has made a name for himself due to his versatility and has been deployed across midfield and defence both for club and country.
With the Red Devils struggling for centre-halves in 2015-16, Blind has filled in at the heart of the Old Trafford rearguard admirably alongside Chris Smalling.
Barcelona could well lose Javier Mascherano this summer and are expected to sign a new central defender one way or the other.
Blind may well be drawn to the Camp Nou club given that United missed out on Champions League qualification, but the English side will surely want to keep the Dutchman.
Jose Mourinho is expected to shake up his playing squad upon his arrival at Old Trafford.
