Barcelona are believed to have tabled a £57.6million offer in attempts to sign Manchester United target Paul Pogba from Juventus, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The 22-year-old is also a target for Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain, with Manchester City also said to have tabled an offer for his services.
Based on a statement made by Italian journalist, Tancredi Palmeri, Barca have made an offer for Pogba and will wait until their transfer embargo is lifted before sealing his move.
“Barcelona have offered €80m [£57.6m] for Pogba, leaving him at Juventus in the next season,” he said.
This means the La Liga giants will be unable to use him for the entirety of next season, but is hoping to sign him this summer and loan him back to Juventus for another campaign.
He has emerged as one of the most promising midfielders in the world and is likely to demand a huge transfer fee should he decide to move on.
United fans will be rather angry given that the club released him on a free transfer back in 2012, but may now see their former player make a record breaking move in the upcoming window.
