Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is hopeful Franck Ribery will remain at the club next season, despite widespread media reports linking him with a move from the Bundesliga giants.
The France international, who is in talks over a new deal, has impressed at the Bavarian outfit this term, playing his part in their run to the Champions League and DFB-Pokal finals.
Bayern also wrapped up another German league title at the weekend after seeing off Hertha Berlin 3-1 and Rummenigge now believes he will prolong his stay on the back of these successes.
Speaking to Sport1 television, he said:"I would stick my neck out and say that Ribery will not only be playing for Bayern Munich next year, but also beyond.
"I am quite optimistic. We have good chances as we head into negotiations."
