Bayern Munich have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, according to reports from the Express.
Kane was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford during the summer following an incredible campaign with the Lilywhites, in which he scored 31 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions.
The Red Devils reportedly had a £45million bid rejected by Spurs, but it is believed that Louis van Gaal will make another attempt to secure his signature before the start of next season, despite Mauricio Pochettino laughing off any chances of Kane departing.
But now Bayern are keen on the England international, with the Bundesliga giants scouting him on three occasions while they prepare a summer offer.
After a slow start to the current campaign, Kane has now found his goalscoring form following a hat-trick in Spurs’ 5-1 victory over Bournemouth last weekend.
And he will have a chance to add to his current four league strikes when Tottenham host Aston Villa on Monday night.
