Bayern Munich star Arturo Vidal has fired a warning shot to upcoming opponents Arsenal ahead of their midweek Champions League clash, Mirror reports.
The 28-year-old featured for his side in the 2-0 defeat at the hands of the Premier League giants two weeks ago, a win which eventually kept the Gunners qualification hopes alive.
However, Vidal has now come out to tell their opponents to prepare to face the wrath of the Bundesliga champions as they target all three points on Wednesday.
“We’ll show Arsenal on Wednesday the true Bayern,” he said.
“Our confidence is high. We will take our chances and get three points.”
The German giants are currently on great form in the domestic league, winning their first 10 consecutive games before picking up a draw against Eintracht Frankfurt last Friday.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will need another good result against their opponents given that they are still third in Group F after losing their first two matches before their recent win against Bayern.
Wenger saw his side suffer shock defeats to both Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos, with the team’s chances of qualification still in doubt.
