Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben has come out to reveal that he is hoping manager Pep Guardiola rejects a potential offer to join Manchester City, Daily Mail reports.
The former Barcelona boss left the La Liga giants back in 2012 before returning to manage the German champions in 2013.
However, despite his recent arrival, Guardiola is already being linked with a switch to the Premier League amid speculation that Manchester City were keen on his services.
Robben was full of praise for his current boss as he came out to urge him to reject advances from City and continue his stay at the Allianz Arena.
“We have one of the best coaches in the world. As many of our players have said, we all want him to stay. It is a lot of fun working with him,” he said.
The winger himself has also attracted interest from England, with Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal looking to add the Netherlands international into his ranks.
He has featured in seven Bundesliga matches and two Champions League games this term, so far scoring a total of four goals while managing to provide another two assists.
