Both Manchester clubs have laid down their transfer cards this summer. Sir Alex Ferguson claims that United will be looking for three new signings this summer, while Manchester City’s chairman has suggested that their transfer policy will be changing and the club will be looking for quality not quantity.
In the papers this morning there have been a mixed bag of stories that include Karren Brady claiming that West Ham gave Avram Grant everything he wanted; Robin van Persie believes in Wenger’s total football, while Ian Holloway claims that the Premier League wants them out.
