Beckham set for United showdown

Beckham’s Galaxy team-mate Landon Donovan has been named in the starting XI, as has one-time Tottenham goalkeeper Kasey Keller, who plays between the posts for Seattle Sounders.

Beckham, who left Old Trafford for Real Madrid in 2003, lined up against Sir Alex Ferguson’s side for AC Milan in the Champions League last year.

United came out on top in last year’s clash against the MLS All-Stars, with Mexican striker Javier Hernandez marking his debut for United with two goals in a 5-2 win at Houston’s Reliant Stadium.
