Juliano Belletti will be handed a free transfer when his Chelsea contract expires at the end of June.
The versatile 33-year-old right-back or midfielder joined from Barcelona in August 2007 and made 94 appearances in all competitions for the Blues.
He is the third player, after England midfielder Joe Cole and Germany captain Michael Ballack, to be told he will be free to leave Stamford Bridge when his contract expires.
"Juliano Belletti joins Joe Cole and Michael Ballack as players leaving the club when current contracts run out at the end of this month," confirmed a club statement.
"A thoughtful and popular figure, Chelsea Football Club would like to thank Juliano for his contribution."
The former Brazil international won one Premier League title and two FA Cups during his three years at Stamford Bridge.
