Manchester United flop Bebe is tipped by his Benfica manager to become an English Premier League star if he ever decides to return to England, Daily Mail reports.
Despite Sir Alex Ferguson purchasing him for £7.4million, the Portuguese winger never started a league match as he failed to impress before being sold away earlier this year.
However, Jorge Jesus believes Bebe is a late bloomer, much like Nemanja Matic, as he sees the 24-year-old on the path to making some huge improvements.
“Tiago (Bebe) never experienced youth development. He was introduced to football late and he lost a lot of time in England.
“Tiago’s development will be equal to Talisca’s, Matic’s and Andre Gomes. They were all late bloomers.”
He joined the Portuguese side for £3million on a four year contract, but even though he was already praised by his manager, he is yet to feature in a league match.
