Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez is still refusing to rule out finishing fourth in the final Premier League table following Sunday's 4-0 victory over Burnley.
Second-half goals from Steven Gerrard (2), Maxi Rodriguez and Ryan Babel kept the Anfield club's slim hopes of Champions League football for next season alive.
Liverpool are currently seventh in the table and need the likes of Tottenham, Manchester City and Aston Villa to slip up if they are to close the two-point gap on fourth place.
But despite the odds being stacked firmly against the Reds, Benitez is refusing to concede defeat in the race for fourth spot.
"I think we have a chance so we will try," he said."We know they (Tottenham and City) still have one game in hand but we are close and we will try our best.
"Maybe the best results for us is for them to draw and then if we can get six points we will have to see.
"If we finish on 68 points we will have a chance because we will have better goal difference."
