The clock is ticking as the transfer window draws ever closer to its end. For English football, that means August 8th, but for most of Europe, they will still be able to bring in new faces until the start of September. One thing is for sure: there will be no lack of news in regards to arrivals and outgoings before now and then! Here, we look at 10 of the biggest transfer stories from the last 24 hours...

So far PSG's transfer window has been dominated by Neymar and his potential return to Barcelona, but the Ligue 1 champions are still moving ahead and looking at players who could move to Le Parc des Princes. Everton's Idrissa Gueye was a target for Thomas Tuchel in January, with the side from the French capital having a bid rejected for him, but now it seems that they are finally going to get their man. It is being widely reported that the two clubs have agreed a fee of £28m for the Senegal midfielder. A deal, therefore, should be completed in the near future.

Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United throughout the transfer window, but now it seems that the deal could be off. It is being reported by Sky Sports' Transfer Blog (25/07, 07.34), that the Portugal international is not a priority for the Old Trafford outfit and that they are instead targeting other options. It is a surprising update, especially considering the 24-year-old himself has expressed a desire to play in the Premier League.

Ademola Lookman never really looked to be a part of Marco Silva's plans last season at Everton. Whilst he may have played in 21 Premier League games, only three of those were actually as part of the starting XI. Perhaps that is one of the reasons why the England U21 international has completed a move to RB Leipzig. The Bundesliga outfit have paid £22.5m to the Toffees for the 21-year-old who has signed a five-year contract with Die Roten Bullen.

Unlike in recent seasons, Wolves have so far been quiet during this summer transfer window, but that could change soon. Sky Sports' Transfer Blog (25/07, 10.42) is reporting that the Molineux outfit are close to a deal for AC Milan's Patrick Cutrone. The Italy international is currently with the Rossoneri as they prepare for the new season during their pre-season tour of the USA and is not rushing a decision.

And it is not just Cutrone that Nuno Espirito Santo is eyeing. It is also being reported (Sky Sports' Transfer Blog, 25/07, 10.35) that Wolves are interested in signing Southampton's Mario Lemina who is believed to be leaving the Saints this summer. The Gabon international had previously been linked with Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United, but the news trail has gone quiet in regards to both of them. Lemina is not the Portuguese manager's top priority, but is on his list of midfielders to bring in.

Jordan Ayew spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace from Swansea City, but was not exactly prolific for the Eagles, scoring just two goals in 25 games. However, that has not put off Roy Hodgson from bringing the Ghana international in on a permanent basis. The Selhurst Park outfit have confirmed the signing of the 27-year-old on a three-year deal, with the former Marseille forward costing Palace £2.5m.

Tanguy Ndombele made Tottenham history when he joined them earlier this month as he became their most expensive player ever. Now, though, Daniel Levy could beat Spurs' transfer record twice in one window if London Evening Standard's latest report is anything to by. They are saying that the Lilywhites have made an approach to Juventus in an attempt to sign Paulo Dybala, who is valued by the Serie A champions at £80m. The North London club are reportedly confident they can get a deal done before the end of the transfer window.

Barcelona are reportedly in the market for a left-back to provide back-up for Jordi Alaba, with recent news stating that a deal for Junior Firpo is close. It seems that David Alaba is also interested in a move to the Camp Nou. The Austria international is even said to have offered himself to the La Liga champions and is "going crazy" to play for Barca. The 27-year-old is apparently unhappy with the state of affairs at current club Bayern Munich and wants a new challenge.

Arsenal's move for Kieran Tierney appeared to be dead in the water following Neil Lennon's recent comments. But Sky Sports reporter Kav Solkehol has resurrected the hopes of the Gunners fans who want to see the Scotland international at the Emirates Stadium next season. He is reporting that Arsenal are "only a couple of million pounds" away from what Celtic want for the 22-year-old, with Tierney interested in talking to the London outfit if a deal can be agreed.

Pedro Obiang has been linked with a move away from West Ham throughout the summer with him appearing to be no longer a part of manager Manuel Pellegrini's plans. And now, his departure from the London Stadium has been confirmed. The Equatorial Guinea midfielder has completed a switch to Serie A club Sassuolo for a fee worth £7.2m plus bonuses.
