Both of the Premier League strugglers are locked on 32 points so far this season. In fact, they have identical records, so three points for either would put a serious dent in the survival hopes of their North-West rivals. Two years ago, Blackburn found themselves in a similar position but went on a run of three straight home wins which lifted them out of trouble. But after five games without a win, it doesn’t look good for Rovers.
Blackpool have the added bonus of finally welcoming back Charlie Adam. Their captain has been sorely missed and it vital to any hopes of staying up. The Tangerines have won five times already on the road this season, and I’m backing them to make it six at Ewood Park.
