Arsenal and Chelsea looks to have been dealt a transfer blow after Paris Saint-Germain starlet Adrien Rabiot is believed to have agreed on a pre-contract switch to Roma, Express reports.
Rudi Garcia insisted that he was tracking the PSG midfielder and it looks as though the 19-year-old could be drawing closer to a move to the Serie A giants.
The French manager confirmed that he is likely to depart the Parc des Princes, but refused to comment on where his next destination will be.
Laurent Blanc said: “I believe he will leave, but I can’t tell you where.
“Rabiot has received a good offer from PSG but apparently it doesn’t interest him. It’s a shame.”
The Gunners were said to be in pole position to sign Rabiot in the summer window as Arsene Wenger sees him as a potential candidate to solve his problems in the holding midfield role.
