Arsenal and Liverpool have been alerted after Granit Xhaka has come out to play down speculation of his exit from Borussia Monchengladbach, Daily Star reports.
The 23-year-old is also being eyed by Serie A champions Juventus as a number of teams consider a move for his services.
In light of recent interest for the midfielder, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is believed to have been preparing an offer around the £19.6million region to lure him to Anfield.
However, all the clubs keen on his reinforcement have now been hit with a blow after Xhaka came out to reveal that he is not looking to leave at this time and will likely play out his contract.
“I am under contract until 2019 here and I am really enjoying life at the club,” he said.
The Switzerland international has been a regular feature for his side this past month, featuring a total of 16 times in all competitions so far, scoring three goals.
Monchengladbach has been on a great run of results this season, so far winning seven out of their previous eight matches.
