Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci has denied speculation that he will make a summer move to Chelsea, according to reports from the Metro.
Bonucci has been heavily linked with a move to the Blues in recent weeks, with the Italy international reportedly interested in following former boss Antonio Conte to Stamford Bridge.
It was thought that Chelsea wanted Bonucci to become the long term replacement for departing captain John Terry, whose contract runs out at the end of the season.
However, the 28-year-old has come out to confirm that he has no interest in joining the Blues, claiming that he is putting all his focus on helping Juve secure another Serie A title.
“If I’ve ever followed Conte, then it’s been to get a coffee at most,” Bonucci said.
“I don’t know where he’s going to go, but I’ve signed a new contract at Juventus and I’m only thinking about the Bianconeri.”
This will come as a big blow to the Blues, who are desperate to sign a centre-back in the summer transfer window.
They have been pushing hard for Everton’s John Stones the past year, while also recently having a bid for Roma defender Kostas Manolas rejected.
