Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is ready to give the club a boost after coming back to full training ahead of their clash against Everton this weekend, Daily Mail reports.
United also received additional good news as Ander Herrera – who sustained a rib injury against West Ham last weekend – is set to recover in two weeks.
The Red Devils have had a poor start to the new season under manager Louis van Gaal, but the Dutchman’s plans have been severely affected by the constant injuries to his squad.
Now Van Gaal could have Marouane Fellaini available to face the Toffees on Sunday, which happens to be the Belgian’s former club.
Fellaini has been sidelined for the past five weeks with an ankle problem he suffered in training after the season opener against Swansea.
“I have known difficult moments like last season, but you become a stronger player afterwards,’ he said. “I have confidence in myself and in my game again.
“I played a good World Cup and I was also good during pre-season. It is unfortunate that this injury has thrown a spanner in the works, but at the end of the month I will be back.”
Fellaini made the £27.5million move from Everton to Old Trafford in the summer of 2013.
