Bournemouth boss hopes to capitalise on pressured Spurs

As Eurosport have reported, Eddie Howe believes that the title challengers will begin to feel the pressure now.

Howe’s Bournemouth face Tottenham this weekend and he looks to be trying to up the pressure on Mauricio Pochettino’s side ahead of their clash. Bournemouth have the third best record of any Premier League side in 2016 and have a good chance of damaging Spurs’ title hopes.

Howe quickly stated that he won’t be focusing on spoiling Spurs’ season and claimed he is focused on making sure his Cherries will be putting out their best performances for the rest of the season, too. After being thrashed 5-1 by Spurs earlier in the season, Howe said that he saw the return fixture as a way of measuring their progress in this campaign.

The Cherries have only lost two of their last nine league games and will even be dreaming of a top half finish with eight games left to play.
