Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason is a surprise transfer target for Bournemouth this summer, according to The Sun.
The all-action midfielder is one of the supremely talented youngsters to have graduated from the North London club’s youth team in recent years, with Mauricio Pochettino putting an emphasis on using the side’s homegrown stars this season.
Mason made an impression in the Spurs starting XI in 2014-15 and formed an impressive partnership with Nabil Bentaleb, which led to the former Swindon Town playmaker being called up by England.
However, injuries this season have seen first-team opportunities not as forthcoming for the midfielder, with Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele becoming first-choice in the boiler room for the White Hart Lane outfit.
The report suggests that the Cherries will offer Mason the chance to play every week and are willing to pay a handsome fee to Spurs to see the star end up at the Vitality Stadium.
