Ronaldinho has come out to reveal that Manchester United target Neymar would shine in the Premier League should he decide to leave Barcelona, Daily Star reports.
The 23-year-old was heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford during the summer window and was said to have been the subject of a mega £139million bid from the club.
However, the move was eventually ruled out as Barca admitted that they were already undergoing talks to hand the forward a new contract.
Speculation of his transfer to United have recently been brought up once again following remarks made by his father over growing tax concerns.
He admitted that Neymar could leave Spain if the authorities continue to investigate his son over his financial issues.
Former Barca star Ronaldinho stated that his fellow countryman is well on his way to becoming the best player in the world and can succeed in which ever league he is a part of.
“Neymar, currently on form, is the best player in the world,” he said.
“Now he has reached the level of the best in the world, he can stay there for five or six years, comfortably.
“He could and would succeed at any league in the world. Of course, there are always transition periods. But when you have that much ability you will succeed in any league in any country.”
