Brazil winger prefers Arsenal transfer over Liverpool

Paris Saint-Germain star Lucas Moura has a better chance of joining Arsenal over Liverpool next summer due to his appreciation for Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, according to reports from the Metro.

Lucas has been heavily linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes in recent weeks, with the Brazilian winger struggling for a regular role playing behind the likes of Angel di Maria and Edinson Cavani in the PSG attack.

And his situation has alerted several clubs in the English top flight, with the Reds and Manchester United interested in the Brazil international.

However, according to Italian source ItaSportPress, Lucas is a keen admirer of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and would prefer a move to the Emirates if he was to make a switch to England.

The Gunners have been looking to add some reinforcements to their midfield with key players such as Alexis Sanchez, Santi Cazorla, and Theo Walcott all struggling with respective injuries.

Lucas, 23, has made 21 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals.
