Brighton ace hopeful of Premier League move

Brighton midfielder Liam Bridcutt has claimed a move to the Premier League would be hard to turn down with less than a month until the January transfer window, as reported by BBC.

The 24 year old was one of the stars of the Championship last season as Albion made the play offs but he has been injured for most of this campaign so far.

Now fully fit, Bridcutt will naturally be linked with a move in the New Year with Sunderland, Fulham and Everton all thought to be scouting the Scotland international.

Playing in the top flight with Brighton is the aim for Bridcutt but he knows that if a club calling in the transfer window, he may get to the Premier League quicker than thought.

“Without a doubt I’ve always said I want to be a Premier League player,” Bridcutt told BBC Sussex.

“It would be even better if I can do it with Brighton, but if there is an opportunity for me to do it with another club I think it is going to be hard for me to turn it down.”
