Bundesliga pundits hints out-of-favour Bayern star set to make Liverpool move

Former Premier League player Jan Aage Fjortoft has claimed that Bayern Munich star Mario Gotze is likely to leave the club this summer after another 90 minutes on the bench, according to reports from the Metro.

Gotze has been heavily linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena in recent weeks, with the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool extremely keen on the Germany international.

And after another game being an unused substitute on the bench for Bayern, Fjortoft believes that Gotze will leave the club this summer in order to reignite his career, with England expected to be his destination.

Fjortoft, now a pundit, tweeted: “Guardiola changed his team on 4 positions today. Mario Götze still on the bench 90 mins for Bayern. Hello England! Be prepared.

Klopp is Gotze’s ‘father‘”

Last week, there were claims that Liverpool have already prepared £31.5million bid to bring Gotze to Anfield, which would see Reds boss Jurgen Klopp reunited with the attacking midfielder.

Klopp and Gotze worked together for four successful years at Borussia Dortmund, winning the Bundesliga two years in a row in 2011 and 2012.
