According to Sky Sports, Sean Dyche believes that his side’s recent triumph over Manchester City at Turf Moor will go a long way in building confidence and ‘reinforcing all the good work’ that Burnley have achieved this season.
The Clarets’ 1-0 win over Manuel Pellegrini’s expensively assembled side goes down as a massive three points for Sean Dyche and his team, who still linger in the ever dreaded relegation zone despite their recent heroics.
The Burnley manager believes that this win will help his side push on now and maintain their Premier League status come the end of the season;
“There is great belief in what we do and you can see that in the way the players apply themselves.”
“The will, the demand and the desire to be in the Premier League, it’s all on show.”
Burnley have won many admirers this season with their hard work ethic and impressive never say die attitude. They may still be flirting with danger at the minute, but as the likes of Leicester, QPR and Sunderland all still occupy very precarious positions in the table, the Clarets have every chance of achieving the impossible this season and holding onto their place in the Premier League.
