Head coach Fabio Capello is confident that defender Ledley King can manage a long-standing knee problem to feature for England at the World Cup finals.
King has been included in the Italian's provisional 30-man squad for South Africa, with Capello keen to speak to Spurs fitness coach Nathan Gardiner about the centre-back's training requirements.
Capello commented:"We have to speak with the coach who works with him about which kind of work he needs.
"But that coach won't come to Austria. Absolutely not. My fitness coach is really good – there are no problems."
"Ledley King is one of the best England defenders.
"He played four games in the last 15 days and said there were no problems with the knee.
"This season he has suffered some problems with his muscles, but not the knee. He said his knee was getting better."
