Capital One’s ‘Little Legends’ campaign giving away 1000 footballs a day

Capital One, sponsors of the English League Cup, are giving away 1,000 footballs a day to kids across the country as they continue their work to get the young more involved in the sport. The campaign is part of the company’s ‘Little Legends’ initiative, designed to celebrate the importance of time spent together as a family, with the nation’s great love, football, the ideal platform to get children, mums and dads, aunts and uncles or even nans and granddads together, having fun.

Parents keen to help their own ‘Little Legend’ win a football must visit Capital One’s Facebook page, where there will be daily draws running until October 31.

Jason Carr, head of sponsorship at Capital One, said: “We know how much joy playing with a football can bring to a child. To adults it’s just a ball, but for kids it puts a world of imagination right at their feet. We want to show our support for Little Legends across the UK by giving away 1,000 footballs a day in October.”

The initiative builds on Capital One’s ‘Little Legends’ campaign, which has already offered adults the chance to take up to five kids to a Round One Capital Cup game of their choice for just £1. Capital One also created a child-friendly environment for Carlisle’s game against Derby, which included booster seats to give little fans a great view, as well as face painting and free pick ‘n’ mix.
