Cardiff City look to land Sunderland striker

Sunderland striker Danny GrahamSunderland’s Danny Graham could find himself on the move again less than six months after signing for the club for £5 million from Swansea City.

The striker joined the club back in January but has had a torrid time and did not find the back of the net in 13 attempts for the Black Cats last term and now he could be on his way back to Wales as newly promoted Cardiff City want him.

Paolo Di Canio is expected to oversee a host of changes during the summer as he dismantles the squad left by predecessor Martin O’Neill and replaces players with his own.

Graham knows Cardiff boss Malky Mackay from their days together at Watford and Mackay is now being linked with a move for his former player as he sets about building a squad for the Premier League.

Cardiff are set to offer £4 million for the striker which could tempt the Black Cats but the player himself may not want to leave the North East after only recently returning to his native area.
