Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is adamant that Ashley Cole will not be leaving Stamford Bridge before the transfer window slams shut later this month.
The England international has hinted that he is keen to join Real Madrid where he would be reunited with former Blues boss Jose Mourinho.
However, Ancelotti said:"Ashley Cole is and will remain a Chelsea player. Everyone can forget the idea he will leave this club. There is no price that will make us sell.
"I'm not interested in the relationship my player has with other coaches. We believe he is the best left-back in the world and because of that he'll stay."
Cole has played 165 games for Chelsea in his four seasons at Stamford Bridge after featuring in more than 200 matches for Arsenal.
The 29-year-old left-back reportedly had a short discussion with Ancelotti about his future when he returned to pre-season training last week.
Cole said after the World Cup that he hated life in England and wanted to move abroad following the break-up of his marriage to Cheryl and continued lurid stories about his personal life.
Real are believed to be willing to launch a £25million bid for Cole.
