Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti admitted that his side were fortunate to leave Blackburn Rovers with a 2-1 Premier League victory on Saturday afternoon.
The Italian supremo watched on as Sam Allardyce's industrious outfit went ahead through Benjani before Nicolas Anelka levelled and a late Branislav Ivanovic finish ensured the Blues' five-point lead at the top of the table remained intact.
Ancelotti thought that Anelka's goal helped his team turn the contest around, but admits there is still room for improvement.
"I think it was the key to this victory. I think in the first half Blackburn played very well, they deserved to be 1-0 up," he said.
"It was very difficult. To play here is not easy but we took a fantastic result and a fantastic three points.
"I think we were a little bit lucky.
"It's possible to improve. We have to stay focused on our job. There is a good atmosphere now and we want to stay in this condition."
