Veteran midfielder Lee Carsley has confirmed his intention to leave Birmingham City at the end of the season.
Carsley has been at St Andrew's for two years, but a long-running ankle injury has restricted the former Derby, Blackburn and Everton midfielder to just three Premier League starts this season.
"I would like to announce that I will be leaving Birmingham City Football Club at the end of this season," he confirmed.
"I came to the club to help them back into the Premiership and then to stay there," he added.
"I have had two fantastic years at the Blues and I would like to thank the management and the fans for all their support.
"I will now look to help another club achieve success and I relish another challenge."
The 36-year-old former Republic of Ireland international made 47 appearances and scored two goals during his time with the Blues.
