Celtic consider loan move for Manchester United striker

Celtic are looking to make a loan move for Manchester United ace James Wilson, according to reports from the Express.

Wilson has struggled for regular playing time at Old Trafford so far this season, with the likes of club captain Wayne Rooney, £36million signing Anthony Martial, and even Maroune Fellaini ahead of him in the pecking order.

This has therefore seen the striker only feature for the Under 21s, which has alerted Scottish side Celtic of his availability.

The loan move could also be beneficial for the Red Devils, as Wilson could potentially have the opportunity to feature in a higher calibre Europa League game for the current Scottish champions.

Wilson may be lured by the fact that another Man United youngster Tyler Blackett is also currently plying his trade at the Celtic Park after the defender left earlier in the campaign.

The 19-year-old only made 13 league appearances last season, scoring one goal.
