Celtic are considering a move for Aston Villa forward Scott Sinclair and may well try to bring the flying forward north of the border this summer according to BBC Sport.
The former Swansea City attacker has become something of a journeyman, with a switch to Manchester City not materialising and his potential not really being reached at Villa.
Sinclair has shown glimpses of his ability since signing for the Midlands club but was powerless to prevent the Villa Park club being relegated in an abject 2015-16 campaign.
Despite Villa being bought over by a wealthy new owner, some of the club’s players are believed to be ready to jump ship and sign for other clubs.
Celtic are in the market for reinforcements following Brendan Rodgers’ appointment and will face bitter Old Firm rivals Rangers again this term after the Glasgow powerhouses were promoted back to the top tier of Scottish football.
