Liverpool are considering making a bid for Celtic youngster Kieran Tierney after scouting him in recent weeks, according to Football Insider.
The 18-year-old left-back has been an impressive member of the Hoops’ side this season and continues to thrive in the first team despite his young age.
Tierney played the full 120 minutes against Celtic’s bitter Old Firm rivals Glasgow Rangers at the weekend, with scouts from the Merseyside outfit thought to have been in attendance at Hampden Park.
The teenager is a product of the Celtic Park youth academy and has already been capped by Scotland, winning his debut for Gordon Strachan’s side this year.
The left-back had previously represented his country at both under-18 and 19 level, but was deemed ready for international football following impressive showings for Celtic.
The Reds are believed to be set to continue to monitor Tierney before making a decision over a summer bid at the end of the current campaign.
