Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh has denied reports suggesting he has already signed a pre-contract agreement with Arsenal.
However, the Morocco international has admitted that he is almost certain to leave the current Ligue 1 leaders at the end of this season when his current contract expires.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger, who tried to sign the striker last summer, said on Tuesday that no deal for Chamakh had been completed and the player himself has now added:"I haven't yet signed at Arsenal. But as the days pass I feel less and less a Bordeaux player.
"I've said though that you (reporters) will be the first ones to know when I sign."
The 26-year-old was Bordeaux's leading goalscorer last season and has netted another seven league goals already this term for Laurent Blanc's side.
