Paris Saint-Germain are set to try and lure Jose Mourinho away from Chelsea and will give the Portuguese trainer an escape route after his side’s underwhelming start to the new season, according to The Express.
The Blues got back on track by beating Arsenal yesterday, but have lost three of their first six games of this season so far.
The former Real Madrid trainer has been under increasing pressure at Stamford Bridge, but has vowed recently that he will not walk away from the Stamford Bridge club.
PSG are lofty ambitions following their takeover by the Qatari Investment Authority and are currently leading Ligue 1 again after winning the domestic crown last term.
However, winning the Champions League remains the ultimate goal for the Parc des Princes outfit, with Laurent Blanc expected to lead the capital city outfit to European success also.
The report claims that Mourinho is being eyed up as a man that could take PSG to the next level, with the Portuguese at the top of the club’s wanted list to replace Blanc.
