David Moyes claims Everton are finally enjoying some good luck after recording only their third Premier League win of the season against Burnley.
Late goals from James Vaughan and Steven Pienaar earned the Toffees a rare three-point haul on Monday to move them up to 11th place in the table.
"We have been playing well enough of late to have deserved more," said Moyes afterwards.
"We deserved this, we had played some smashing football at times and I always believed our luck would change."
Meanwhile, Moyes was delighted with Vaughan's return to the scoresheet after a two-year absence.
The 21-year-old striker has suffered a horrendous run of injuries since he last found the mark in a UEFA Cup tie in December 2007.
"I am really pleased for James. He has had a terrible time with injuries for more than two years now," he continued.
"This time he has come back without even a reserve run-out.
"He has missed so much of his development that we are just trying to nurse him through to get him back to what he was like as an outstanding teenager."
