Chelsea’s Nathan Ake has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, with Turkish outfit Besiktas credited with interest in the young Blues starlet, that is according to the Daily Express.
Jose Mourinho isn’t particularly famed for bringing through youth players, however, it is believed the former Porto and Real Madrid manager is keen on keeping Ake in the first-team picture at Stamford Bridge – seemingly, this is due to Ake’s versatility with the former Feyenoord player capable of playing at left-back, centre-back and in the midfield role.
Besiktas president Fikret Orman recently said, “We have a very good relationship with Chelsea. Will we do business with them in January? Why not?” which would suggest that a move could well be on the cards for the player who has represented Holland at every level internationally up until the U21s.
