Chelsea are set to loan out new signing Kevin De Bruyne to Werder Bremen to give him more experience, The Guardian report.
The Belgian superstar has moved to Stamford Bridge this summer from Racing Genk in a deal worth around £7 million, and high hopes are being pinned on the attacker’s shoulders.
However, with the likes of Oscar, Marko Marin and Eden Hazard all joining the Blues also, opportunities in the first team for De Bruyne are considered to be limited, even before he has kicked a ball for the club.
Chelsea conducted a similar process with De Bruyne’s countryman Thibaut Courtois, who moved to west London only to be loaned out to Atletico Madrid straight away.
