Chelsea will need to decide on Loic Remy’s future after Crystal Palace are believed to be planning a bid to lure him away from Stamford Bridge, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The 28-year-old only completed a £10.5million switch from Queens Park Rangers in the summer, but former manager Alan Pardew is keen on bringing him to Selhurst Park.
Ahead of his move, Remy was on loan at Newcastle United and was on great scoring form, notching 14 goals in 26 Premier League matches, alerting the likes of Liverpool as well as Chelsea to make a move.
The Frenchman was set on a switch to Anfield last summer, but a failed medical allegedly halted the transfer, resulting in the Blues capturing the striker on deadline day.
Remy has been given a very limited role so far this season, in which he has only started three league matches, while appearing as a substitute a further 11 times.
Should Pardew decide on making a move, Palace may need to cough up a sum of around £10million in order to begin any sort of negotiations.
