Chelsea are prepared to go head-to-head with Manchester United, along with a number of European sides, in the battle for Bursaspor starlet Ozan Tufan, Express reports.
The 20-year-old is currently a target for a number of clubs, with his father and agent, Arda Tufan, confirming interest in his son.
“Atletico and also Valencia have been to see him play but they are not alone,” he said.
“Other big European teams have sent scouts to watch Ozan play – AC Milan, Juventus, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs, City and United.”
He is currently valued around the £5million region, but depending on the number of clubs looking to secure his services, his price tag could increase dramatically.
The midfielder has been on great form in the Turkish top tier, while his versatility is also seen as a huge asset for interested clubs.
Tufan is usually deployed as a defensive midfielder, but is also competent on the right flanks, both as wing back or a winger.
The Turkish ace has already featured for his side 29 times this season, scoring three goals and providing six assists in the process.
