Chelsea and Manchester United target Harry Kane has been tipped by Danny Murphy to remain at Tottenham Hotspur, Express reports.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to both Premier League clubs in recent months, but has continuously been denied a chance to step up their chase.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed on multiple occasions that his star striker is not for sale despite links that United were ready to table £50million for his services.
In addition to all the hands-off warnings issued by the club, Murphy has come out to admit that Spurs are likely to build the squad around Kane, a factor that could see him remain at White Hart Lane for a long time.
“I don’t think Harry Kane will be going anywhere, ever,” he said.
“If Spurs keep progressing, he could be the player they build the team around.”
Tottenham are constantly improving as they now find themselves fifth on the Premier League table, three points behind the Red Devils in fourth and six behind Leicester City in first.
Kane has featured in all 15 league matches for his side this season, so far managing to score eight goals.
