Chelsea and Man United told to pay £132.5m for Serie A starlet

Chelsea and Manchester United have been told to pay £132.5million to sign AC Milan starlet Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to reports from Sport Mediaset.

The 16-year-old has also been linked with a move to Liverpool, Ajax, and Barcelona in recent weeks after managing to overtake Diego Lopez to a regular goalkeeping role.

Blues keeper Marco Amelia revealed that his club are keeping an eye on the Italian, while United are said to be plotting a £30million move for his services.

However, Donnarumma’s agent, Mino Raiola, has revealed that the young star has a great future while placing a valuation of around £132.5million on the player.

“I’d compare him to a (piece by Italian artist Amadeo) Modigliani,” he said.

“He’s worth €170m (£132.5m).

“He has a great future. He’s an extraordinary kid and everyone loves him. He’s already a little champion but he can become a great one.”

Milan president Silvio Berlusconi also admitted that despite any incoming offers, he is prepared to keep the player at the San Siro for at least another 20 years.

He has already featured 18 times in the Serie A this term while managing to keep six clean sheets since his first team debut late last year.
