Chelsea and Manchester United are both interested in signing Miralem Pjanic this summer, the Daily Star has reported.
The AS Roma star scored in an international friendly over the Easter weekend and has said that he is very happy at Roma, but he is aware that a deal can go through very quickly if it suits all parties.
Pjanic has a £37 million buy-out clause in his contract, according to the Daily Star, and his impressive performances in the Roma midfield have piqued the interest of some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Both Chelsea and Manchester United have had issues with balancing their midfields and the creative wizardry of Pjanic will surely appeal to whoever ends up managing the two clubs next season. Although Chelsea and United may not be in the Champions League next season, their financial clout could see a monetary battle between the two sides who dominated the Premier League during the 00s.
